Six Systems of Indian Philosophy
Description
Knowledge is true only when it is acceptable in the light of each of the six systems of Indian philosophy. The truth of every statement in the Bhagavad-Gita can be tested in this way. In the appendix of, "Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on the Bhagavad-Gita: A new translation and commentary with Sanskrit text, chapters 1-6," published by Penguin Books, 1969, Maharishi systematically describes Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Sankhya, Yoga, Karma Mimansa, and Vedanta, and all the individual aspects of each system.
